Drontal is Britain’s number one wormer.  It is the only wormer to treat every type of worm that your cat is likely to get, including roundworms and tapeworms. For routine control it is recommended that adult cats be treated every 3 months or, if your cat has a heavy infestation of round or tapeworm, a repeat dose can be given after 14 days.

Drontal tablets are administered orally and can be given directly or mixed with food. Each pack contains 2 tablets.
For Drontal Cat Tablets, the dosage is: ½ a Drontal tablet per 2kg bodyweight, 1 tablet for cats of 4kg. For cats weighing 6kg and over Drontal XL tablets are a option.
Each tablet contains the active ingredients Praziquantel (20mg) and Pyrantel Embonate (230mg).

This product is safe to use on adult cats and kittens over 6 weeks of age. It is also safe to use on lactating queens. However, for worm treatment during pregnancy, veterinary advice should be sought. As with all medicines, refer to the dosage and usage instructions provided with the product before administering to your pet.
